3 to Tango

Yesterday three contemporary masters in the art world come together to put up only one of its kind show THREE TO TANGO. Binoy Varghese, George Martin and Farhad Hussain flagged off their month long group show with a cocktail evening followed by a Tango dance piece by Mr. Ramesh and Ms. Reema Sarin at the Polka Art Gallery.

Their distinct styles of the artists have fused in this art show to create an eclectically extravagant riot of colors for the guests to enjoy. While Binoy’s artworks are a reflection of photographs, an installation or de-installation of their transit, George Martin exuberates and overflows with urbane themes that amalgamate multiple cultures. Farhad on the other hand has used vivid cerulean blues, pinks and vermilions in his paintings which have marked influence of modern cubist works.
The show, hosted by Ms. Aarti Singh, in accordance to its theme, had a tango performance to entertain the guests, following the inauguration and the cocktail bash. Some of the people seen there were Baba Anand, Poonam Bhagat, Bubbles Sabharwal, Ramola Bachchan, Divya Gurwara, Sanjay Bhattacharya, Harmeet Bajaj, etc.
