An Evening of Architecture


The beautiful backdrop of the ruins of Lal Kot and the Qutub was the perfect setting for the Art Exhibition Contemporary Sultanate hosted by Rasika & Chetan Kajaria of Exhibit 320 at the  Olive, Mehrauli. The exhibition was Curated by Veeranganakumari Solanki.



The gorgeous cocktail event saw the likes of contemporary artists Arunkumar HG, Bose Krishnamachari, Charmi Gada Shah, G. R. Iranna, Gigi  Scaria, Muktinath Mondal, Nandan Ghiya, Pooja Iranna, Princess Pea, Raqs Media Collective, Reena Saini Kallat, Remen Chopra,  Riyas Komu,  T. V. Santhosh, Vibha Galhotra, Zuleikha Chaudhari & Sean Curley. Coming together with their eclectic tastes, the exhibition had an array of styles in the form of Sculptures, Paintings and Installations. Various themes of the modern era were taken up with the artists. Whether it is urbanization, or the economic downturn, the media or inspiration from history, each of the individual artistic aesthetic essence was encapsulated in this exhibition.
The exhibition which is going to continue till the 3rd of February, was quite a  well attended gala which saw the likes of art & fashion fraternity including Promila Bahri, Manjunath Kamath, Swapnil Khullar, G R Iranna, Pooja Iranna, Mayur Girotra, Ankita & Avantica Chaudhry, Subodh Gupta, Gigi Scaria to name only some.

The exhilarating milieu of the historical structure, together with the beautiful Shlokas playing in the background flawlessly complemented the fantastical world for all the art pieces that came alive with the people during the exhibitions. For art lovers and connoisseurs, this is the place you must visit at least once.
