Rajasthan Fashion Week - Julia Bruchwitz

The glorious pink city of Jaipur may be hosting a fashion show for the first time, but one of the shows that every one is looking forward to by everyone is the one by Julia Bruchwitz. Most known for The JZ Couture brand based in Dubai, Julia’s expertise lies in the designing of exotic gowns and colorful kaftans, blending a lot of Asian fabrics and embroidery with modern chic. This young fashion designer who has come from Germany, has also worked with Louis Vitton, and started her brand JZ Couture in 2010 in had with Zara Hassan from Pakistan. Her main market for the last few years has been the Middle East, but now she has started to target international markets as well and is doing very well. And honestly, what better place to start than India.

For her show in the upcoming Rajasthan Fashion Week, she has worked with a lot of textiles including chiffon, georgette, velvet, crepe and silk with influences from Asian embroideries. She has bold silhouettes in her collection this time with a bohemian look and drapes that accentuate the female body. Her exquisite pieces have a bold palette of radiant colors of pink, bright sky blues whites and pastels on Western silhouettes and patterns with intricate lace work and Pakistani embroidery. Her dresses and kaftans have a Middle Eastern feel but the silhouettes have a strong European essence in it which makes her designs stand out in the array. It will possibly be one of the most exciting shows in the fashion week in the glamorous setting of Jaipur.
