In the three days 40 designers, both garment as well as accessory designers from across the country, are showing off their wares to the world at the JW Marriot in the pink city Jaipur. Among the several designers that are participating in the debut year of this fashion extravaganza are Pam Mehta, Kirti Rathore, Poonam Patel, Lina Tipnis, Rohit Verma and others. He even featured as himself in Madhur Bhandarkar’s hit blockbuster movie “Fashion”.
This season the “Youngest Achiever Award” Winner from Maharashtra is all set to set the ramp on fire with his show in the Rajasthan Fashion week with his collection called “War Of Colors”. His five year old fashion label ‘Hare’ has got many accolades from all over the world including the British Asian Hafta Awards in London. He has also done fashion shows in Kuwait, Bahrain and Dubai.
Taking inspiration from the bright colors of Rajasthan, his collection reflects the flamboyance of the state in its all its glory. The drama of the colors in different parts of the states is resonated in the bold choice of colors and shows off the strength of Rajasthan’s royal image. He has included a dramatic ball gown which is 60 meters of fabric that accolades the elements of the traditions and customs of Rajasthan. The men will be sporting “Kamasutra” outfits, while the outfits for women depict the sensuality and power of the woman. The rules and traditions break and fuse in his latest collection to be presented in Rohit’s collection for the upcoming Rajasthan Fashion week.
