Jewel Box - Tarun Tahiliani

A name that is known by everyone in the Indian design industry and possibly abroad, this July DLF Emporio will be bedazzled by the fourth edition of Tarun Tahiliani’s Couture Exposition.

From Tarun Tahiliani's latest collection
Jewel Box
Tarun Tahiliani, already known for his fusion of Indian craftsmanship to contemporary European fits, presents in this collection bridal wear and occasion wear with a theme – ‘Jewel Box’ which in itself resonates the rich tradition, history and classic workmanship. As he prepares  for the collection to be showcased on the 25th to the 28th of July; he says, "The blush of a bride as an emotion coupled with our incredible tradition of embellishment as the highest offering creates some of the most poignant images of people’s lives."

An exemplification of the Indian bridal finery and traditional embellishments is reflected, quite literally, from his latest couture presentation, in his the rich embroideries and beautiful feminine silhouettes. The latest exquisite collection of 35 Tarun Tahiliani ensembles from the bridal collection will be unveiled in the ‘jewel box’; a set made entirely of glass, a project for which he worked with Asahi India Glass, in the DLF Emporio, New Delhi, just as the bridal season starts. Each year Tarun has worked on a theme for his Couture Exposition, and this year’s theme promises to be a sparkler with Swarovsky displays and delicate high end jewelry from with other bridal accessories to go with it. Jewellery brands like JH Jewellers and Forevermark come together with Johnnie Walker Gold Label Reserve for the expo.
